The St. Joseph County Parks & Recreation Department strives to offer beautiful, natural parks for our residents, visitors and wildlife. Our goal is to provide the public with outstanding recreational experiences, in parks that make the most of and protect our unique natural resources. We hope you will visit often and enjoy our county parks!

ACCESSIBILITY: St. Joseph County Parks will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs. Please contact us five working days in advance if special accommodations are requested. Park services are open to all without regard to race, color, national origin, sex or handicap.

PARK HOURS: St. Joseph County Parks are open daily from dawn to dusk.

Park Hours: Dawn to Dusk

With over 1,000 feet of waterfront and six acres, Covered Bridge Farm provides an idyllic setting, boasting picturesque views of the iconic Langley Covered Bridge and St. Joseph River. In 2017, the 1870 Barn was renovated and now is a perfect venue for hosting a variety of events. Modern bathroom facilities, a pavilion, river walk and non-motorized boat launch makes Covered Bridge Farm fantastic for picnics, fishing, paddling, or even a wedding.

For reservations, please contact the St. Joseph County Parks Department office at 269/467-5519. Tables and chairs included in the rental price of the Barn.
