Welcome to the St. Joseph County AI Task Force

The St. Joseph County MI AI Task Force is committed to harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance government services, streamline operations, and improve the quality of life for our residents. Our primary focus is currently on developing digital assistants and AI-driven chatbots to support our staff and provide exceptional service to the community. The AI Task Force meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 8:00am.

Our Mission

To explore and implement AI technologies that augment our staff's capabilities, optimize departmental functions, and ensure a responsive, efficient government.

Current Initiatives

  • AI-Driven Chatbots: Implementing chatbots to enhance customer service by answering frequently asked questions, guiding residents through processes, and providing information quickly and accurately.
  • Customized AI Solutions: Creating tailored AI solutions for each department, training the AI on our data to meet specific needs and improve efficiency.
  • Staff Training: Equipping our staff with the knowledge and skills to effectively use and manage AI technologies.
