Michigan State Law requires that all dogs over four (4) months old be licensed. To obtain a dog license, you will need to provide proof of current rabies vaccination at the time you purchase the license.

Licenses may be purchased at your local Township/City Treasurer's office December 1 through March 1 and all year at St. Joseph Animal Control or at the County Treasurer's Office.

• Spayed/Neutered dog: $10.00
• Unaltered dog: $20.00
• After March 1st: $40.00
