The Juvenile Division of the Family Court handles various types of cases, including:

  • Juvenile delinquency - offenses committed by youth under 17 years of age.
  • Status offenses: i.e., incorrigibility, runaway, truancy.
  • Neglect / Abuse: cases involving the neglect and/or abuse of children under 18 years of age.
  • Personal protection cases

Judge Kevin Kane presides over the Juvenile and Protective Division of the Family Court, and the Circuit Judge is Paul Stutesman. Judge Kane also handles other types of cases as well as being the Probate Judge.

The Family Court office is in the Three Rivers Courts building at 920 W Michigan Ave in Three Rivers, MI.
